Firstly I’d like to apologise for not posting in a while, things have gotten a little hectic. From now on there will be shorter more frequent posts. This leads me to today’s topic.
I often hear that people just don’t have time to go to the gym every day, that work takes up too much time and there just isn’t enough time in the day.
While I fully understand the feeling of not having enough time in the day to do what I want to, that is only a feeling and in reality there is more than enough time in the day. An hour in the gym is only 4% of your day where as the average amount of time we spend watching TV is 10% of your day. When I put it like that it makes you think about exactly what it is stopping you from going to the gym for an hour every day. The ‘there isn’t enough time’ excuse doesn’t wash because everyone has a spare hour. I work 9+ hours a day and I sleep on average 7 hours a night and I’m still in th gym at least an hour a day. So why aren’t you?
You are your biggest obstacle when it comes to making the changes you need to make. You are the one making excuses, you are the one saying that you will start tomorrow or on Monday. Well tomorrow never comes. So get up and go.
Starting your day with an hour in the gym sets you up for a productive day filled with positivity . So try it, after all it’s only 4%.
